michelin pulls a baba

Hey..

After architecting a disappointing race at Indianapolis, Michelin tyres are trying to get some goodwill. Michelin has offered to repay the ticket fares for all 20000+ ticket holders of the Formula One 2005 at Indy. Furthermore they have also agreed to bear the cost of tickets for next year Formula One 2006 at Indy for this years' visitors. Good news. It will be interesting to watch how they can actually get this done.

Remembering how our thalaivar SuperStar Rajni bore the losses of BABA and reimbursed the distributors....

See you all at Indy 2006.....vroooom.....

Chao..

Comparing Michelin with thalaivar? Thalaivar's Baba was no damp squib. It was just a great movie that was not appreciated. Maybe, the Kaathaadi scene was a bit stretched, but still a great movie.

Of all the people, et tu Siva!

It is nice of Michelin to re-imburse thus. But, their dig at the FIA in their statement is really neat ;-) Hope that you guys have a great and spectacular race next year at Indy. Ensoy maadi.

The comparison was purely for the act of bearing the losses and compensating the believers/fans. It was not to suggest anything otherwise, atleast intentionally ;)
